Retired US Olympian Picabo Street: ‘Athletes appreciate Sochi’s level of difficulty’

Picabo Street, a former US world cup Alpine ski racer, told RT that despite media reports criticizing Sochi, the athletes are impressed by both the venues and the accommodation in Sochi, which are some of the best she’s seen at any Olympics. "There’s been a lock-in in the bathroom here and there, an elevator episode here and there - but honestly all in all the athletes are really happy with their venues and their competition space. It’s the first Olympics I think that I’ve seen where all the athletes at every venue are happy with the level of difficulty and the level of preparation that’s gone into their venues."
