Vladislav Tretiak to RT: ‘Lighting the Olympic cauldron means the world to me’

Soviet hockey legend, Vladislav Tretiak, had to keep his honored mission at the Sochi Olympics opening ceremony secret even from his wife and children, he revealed to RT. He has recalled the moment when he stepped on the stadium to carry the Olympic torch to light the cauldron. “We – all flame and flag bearers - sat in special room and watched the Opening ceremony on TV.
